Yesterday was our 5th birthday. Recording a bunch of new demos to celebrate.

February 6, 2008
We've got a bunch of new shirts available online.

January 24, 2008
A happy new year to all. A couple things to mention here. New Music. We recorded some demos by ourselves which we think are pretty rad for demos and decided to put two of them on our Myspace profile for your enjoyment. New Video. CMTM's own "Master of Disaster" Phil Wilson made a tour/music video for "WMD" with footage we shot on our most recent Maritime tour. Peep it! New Shows. We look forward to catching up with you at our February shows in Ottawa, Guelph, Hamilton and Toronto. Check the details s'il vous plais.

December 2, 2007
Well, we made it back safe and sound from our recent Maritime tour. It was our third tour out that way in just over a year. We love Eastern Canada and Newfoundland! Despite some awful weather and a couple of terrorizing driving incidents (black ice, a hurricane, a bear running in front of the van on the highway) we managed once again to have an awesome time. We want to say thanks to everyone who came to our shows and thanks to people who bought discs, shirts and buttons. It never ceases to amaze us how many supportive and awesome people we come across. It really is a gift to be able to play our music for people, and we are so grateful... Thanks for the support and encouragement. We are recording demos for our next release now and look forward to a productive 2008. Finally, we have three shows this month in Toronto, Montreal and our hometown of Barrhaven. No wait, Phil is actually from Kingsville. Anways, see you soon.

October 25, 2007
Were off on tour again tomorrow. This is the third one in the last year. Toronto to Newfoundland this time. Check shows for details. Ryan laughed and asked me to put that "If youre sliding into first and you feel something burst" song up on the news page but it may be a little inappropriate. See you soon.

September 18, 2007
We are gearing up to go on tour in late October, starting in Ottawa and ending in Newfoundland. Rehearsing new songs and working out tour logistics. Check out shows to see the dates! Then you could always go buy some CMTM tunes here. Big thanks to Lyla and Rupaul for all the lawnchairs.

July 25, 2006
Hi boys and girls, our Eastern Canadian tour is being planned as we speak for this October.
A list of all cities will be posted shortly for all you curious types. We are also currently arranging a possible music video and are keeping our fingers crossed that something can be worked out. Our song "Tuz" has recently been licensed for use in a film starring Michael Madsen (the guy who cut the other guy's ear off in Reservoir Dogs) who's release date is early 2007, which we are also excited about.
We have begun performing our first new song since we released our album, tentatively titled "Who do you love?" And last but not least, we will finally have some nice live footage to post up on the internet. The footage is in the editing stage right now, and will be ready by August.

July 2, 2006

Great show in Montreal, followed by our vehicle dying on the side of the 401 near Kingston, followed by another awesome show at the Rivoli, followed by some hacker-fuckers destroying the CMTM message board. This site is also sorta new, but it is a temporary one, as a big huge one is in the works as we speak. SCENE Music Festival is this upcoming Sunday in St Catharines. Really good bands, and always a really fun time. Check out their site for details.

August 8
The EP is almost here folks. The tunes and mixes are all done, and we should be set to go for an EP release September 10 @ Sneaky Dee's. Sprinting Results Final Heat: Adam Thrasher won the final for the fastest CMTM member with a photo finish, inches ahead of Scott. Ross was unable to foot the heat due to a kinked neck.
Watch the race here. (it may take a minute to load) Thanks to all who came out last evening for the show at Lee's Palace, we had a lot of fun. Also a kudos to Levi Ride who played before us and rocked.

July 28
Finished first weekend of recording. We have a bunch of photos, some audio, and sprinting results. The photos and audio will be up later this week. As for the sprinting results, ross, the fatter one, came dead last both heats. Ryan came in third both races and Adam and Meezer each won a gold. Now, on to the good stuff...
New contest !!!!!
Since the first CMTM contest was such an international hit, we've come up with another...its called "I want to be in the band, but all the spots are full, so im going to help write the lyrics".
Rules: The only rule is that your lyrics can only be ten syllables long*. You can write whatever your heart desires... Submissions can either be e-mailed or entered into the GUESTBOOK at the bottom of this page. Submissions must be entered this week. I mean before Saturday!!!
Now for the prize: Your words get to be in the new CD, you get a CD, and although I have not asked anyone else, you get to sing that line up on stage whenever we play. I mean, its basically like you are in the band. So hurry up, because there is not a lot of time.
* a. A unit of spoken language consisting of a single uninterrupted sound formed by a vowel, diphthong, or syllabic consonant alone, or by any of these sounds preceded, followed, or surrounded by one or more consonants.
b. One or more letters or phonetic symbols written or printed to approximate a spoken syllable.
2. The slightest bit of spoken or written expression: Do not alter a syllable of this message.

July 21
Recording new CD this coming weekend, back in Ottawa with recording engineer Ian MacIntosh. This new CD should be interesting. The band has decided to record the music without using hardly any overdubs. The songs will be recorded as we all play together, at the same time, in the same room, which should give this CD a very warm, vibrant and very live feeling. This recording approach, as you may or may not know, is not very common. We are planning to get the CD released by mid September. And better you believe that Lee's Palace, August 7, 2003 will be smokin' hot.

September 16
Dearest friends,
We are playing a show Thursday, August 7th at Lee's Palace. More details to come...
Also, for this silly little "1000th visitor" contest, we have decided that the winner will get something that no one else can get.... All I can say is that the prize is tops.

July 15

A big thanks to all who came out to the show last evening (July 14). For those of you who didn't, fear not, as we are playing soon at Café Dekcuf (August 23 - in Ottawa) and Sneeky Dee's (September 10 - Toronto). Some photos of the last couple of shows will be up as soon as I can get my greasy little mitts on em'.
Note: If you are visiter 1000 (see bad counter at bottom of page) you win something. Not really sure what, but probably a CD and shirt. How do you prove that you are visitor 1000. Good question. I guess that is the second part of the contest. If it were me that won, I would probably take a screen shot of the counter and e-mail us the image. Anyways, good luck.
July 14 - Monday night
Lee's Palace. Free.

June 22
